The Etiquette of Internet Dating

Whether or not you are new to online dating, we recommend that you check out this article about etiquette and the internet. We agree with some of the sentiments expressed by the author...it's not about getting the most dates possible by posting an old picture, fibbing about your age, height or marital status or simply saying what you think a member of the opposite sex wants to hear. It's very easy to say whatever you like on the internet and create a virtual persona that is nothing like the real you...but remember if you do that, once you do actually meet up, you will have to explain yourself at some time. We've heard stories of people posting pictures over ten years old, pictures of their sister/brother, of adding a few inches to their height and of taking several years off their age. None of that is a good idea in our opinion.
